wcw is william carlos williams, a modernist (modernism = vicinity of wwi and ii). i'm not a great fan of his. in fact, i think his influence has been detrimental to the overall quality of poetry being produced today. however, it's always important to know the literary tradition that surrounds one's subject matter.

Hm. The answer, given that it's the end of the Second Marking Period of Doominess and Evility, is probably "no." Maybe you can work on it this Friday. (More likely we'll all sleep until noon, wake up, roll over, and fall back to sleep, completely refusing to do work of any type. [Then you guys'll come over to my house and finally watch Donnie Darko, right?] But I can always hope that you'll take that time to revise.)
